CHEVIOT SHEEPSKIN RUG (TÙS - VATTEN FARM)

This gorgeous and large sheepskin is from Cheviot sheep, bred in Vatten Farm on the Isle of Skye, just eight miles from our tannery in Waternish. 

The Cheviot fleece is long and durable, very dense and warm, and makes really beautiful sheepskin rugs.  

These rugs will keep warm and comfy for years to come and prove easy to look after,  They are a creamy white colour (no sheep is truly white) and quite large, at least 95cm long and 65-70 wide. 

HISTORY

The Cheviot is an old breed which traditionally lived in North East England and the Scottish Borders.  Known for its resistant nature and ability to graze on wild moorland year-round, it proved well suited to the Highlands when introduced in the 1790s.

Dispatch time: orders are usually dispatched within 2 working days of receiving your order.

Delivery: UK orders are sent via 48hr tracked delivery services (Royal Mail or ParcelForce)

International Shipping

• Delivery times: EU and North American orders should take 7 to 14 working days and further afield to within 7 to 21 working days. If you require more information please contact us.
• Shipping costs: International Shipping is calculated at checkout when you enter the delivery address. 
• Duties and tariffs: US orders are now being sent duty paid. EU duty paid options are available at checkout. Other orders are liable to in-country charges on arrival. Please look out for DHL emails.

UK customers:

Exchanges and returns can be made within 30 days of receipt of the goods, without affecting your statutory rights. To request a return or exchange, please return the (unworn/unused) product using the returns form provided in your parcel to our Skyeskyns Waternish address. The original postage fee will be deducted from the refund issued, except in instances where the item is faulty, defective or sent in error.

Exchanged products are sent out to you free of charge.
