Care & Maintenance
To keep your sheepskin looking as good as the day you bought it, restore the texture of the wool from time to time using a metal brush or comb.
On the back of each sheepskin, you will find a stamp detailing whether the fleece is washable or dry clean only. If washable, you can machine wash on a wool cycle. By hand, wash in warm water using wool soap, and rinse thoroughly in clean water.
Dry in the shade and do not expose the leather to heat. When dry, shake vigorously and rejuvenate the pile using a metal brush or comb. Please read our Ultimate Guide to Sheepskin Maintenance.

Sheepskin Care Tip 1: Brushing
Most sheepskins, including cushions and snuggles, will love a good brush. A slicker brush is designed to be strong but pliable. Your fleeces will love it!

Sheepskin Care Tip 2: Washing
Yes, it's true, a lot of sheepskins are washable! And even if they are what we call dry lean, our Woolly Fresh Spray can help tackle stains or simply give them a wee boost.

Sheepskin Care Tip 3: Fresh Air
After a good brush, sheepskins love to be hung outside on the line. A bit of fresh air will restore them and clear any lingering smells.
