OUR ETHOS
Lambskins have always been a by product of farming in Britain, where we have the highest standards of animal welfare.
We source the skins used in our tannery from farms and abattoirs in Scotland and Britain.

We are dedicated and passionate about preserving craft and artisan skills that have been in existence for a thousand years and that are now endangered in the UK.

What makes our sheepskins unique
Our sheepskins are primarily sourced from flocks in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. They are hand-tanned by Skyeskyns using mimosa tree-bark using our lovingly honed process. This is an entirely natural process which means they are ecologically sound and biodegradable. They are individual in tones and depth of pile although can be closely matched to complement any interior.
Our range also encompasses carefully selected and tanned sheepskins from the rest of the United Kingdom and some European breeds.
