Mini Bag

100% wool outerwear handmade in Nepal

Their Story

Pachamama began business in 1990, first trading goods from the Andean mountains in South America (hence the company name), moving to handmade knitwear and wool accessories from Nepal a few years later.

They work very closely with the communities who craft their goods, from sourcing and collecting raw materials to designing, producing and packaging each garment. The clothes are mostly produced in villages  where the knitters use this work to supplement their income, with some factory-based production for selected pieces and packaging.

The Pachamama team regularly visit the production sites and makers and have been working with some of them for over 20 years.  We just love their direct and dedicated approach to fair trade and the fact they have really strong producer relationships.

Pachamama items tend to be unique in design and made in small batches, which makes them standout as well as be firm favourites in customers' wardrobes. Their hats and gloves are super cosy and all made using traditional knitting techniques and of course our favourite material: WOOL

The Pachamama Range At Skyeskyns

We started stocking Pachamama three years ago and their hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, beanies and slipper socks have been something of a runaway success.  They come in a range of colourful wool, with interesting and sometimes complex patterns and some of our favourite woolly sheep motifs!   We also introduced some men's and kids' hats and mittens in 2020.
