Skyeskyns is situated on the Isle of Skye off the West Coast of Scotland.
How to find Skyeskyns. From Portree, take the main A850 Dunvegan Road. From Dunvegan, take the main A850 Portree Road.
At the sign Skyeskyns Tannery and Exhibition cross the Fairy bridge and follow the road for 3 miles to the T-junction. Turn right and we’re 100 metres on the right.
Waternish is a notably historic part of the island, and is the perfect place to spend some time enjoying the breathtaking views of the Outer Isles and discovering the other local attractions, including the Stein Inn, Dandelion Designs craftshop and gallery, the renowned Lochbay Seafood Restaurant, and also Shilasdair Yarns. For the more adventurous, there is also a Dive Centre and excellent local boat trips to see the stunning coastal scenery and marine wildlife including whales, dolphins and porpoises.
And - don’t forget: Skyeskyns showroom and workshop is the only one of its kind in Scotland. The perfect place for that lasting keepsake of Skye.
